EROS SIGNS TELEVISION LICENSE DEAL WITH STAR NETWORK

Eros, a leading integrated studio within the Indian media & entertainment sector,

announced today that it has signed a multi-film content licensing deal with Rupert

Murdoch owned Star Network. The deal includes already released and forthcoming

films such as:

VEER, an epic love story of a warrior, one of the biggest films made for Indian

Cinema, starring Salman Khan, Zarin Khan, Mithun Chakraborty and Jackie Shroff,

which had a worldwide theatrical release in January 2010.

And

HOUSEFULL, a romantic comedy scheduled for worldwide theatrical release in April

2010. From the successful Producer-Director team of Sajid Nadiadwala and Sajid

Khan, Housefull brings together a star-studded cast lead by Akshay Kumar, Arjun

Rampal, Ritesh Deshmukh, Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta and Jiah Khan,

supported by Boman Irani.

Sameer Rao, General Manager Star Gold said, “We are pleased to have acquired

the exclusive satellite TV rights for films such as VEER and HOUSEFULL. These

movies will be enjoyed by audiences of the STAR TV network all over the world. For

us, this represents yet another significant deal in our continuing and fruitful business

relationship with Eros.”

both sides can maximise the potential from the television broadcast ”.

Eros also recently announced a series of major television licensing deals with Zee

Network & Star.
